“SUPER SHIFT” was developed for the purpose of shortening the stroke of FK8.
The extension pivot that extends the lower side of the rod of the genuine shift ASSY is highly accurate, so it has sufficient durability just by inserting it into the genuine pivot part and fixing it with a set screw.
The included fixing screws (4 pcs.) are treated with Alloc processing (to prevent loosening), so there is no need to prepare a screw locking agent when installing the product.
By lengthening the lower part of the genuine shift rod, it is possible to achieve an appropriate short shift (approximately 20% shorter than the genuine product).
Extending the rod any further would make the angle of the shift wire stricter, so after careful consideration of long-term stable use and appropriate stroke amount, we determined that the above dimensions are the best for extending the rod at the bottom.
